Hi  I have been coming to URNL for a long time, a few years.  I've posted a few pics, have a little bit of profile, and chat a lot.  I tend to think of myself as "literate," so I am kind of surprised that I haven't yet posted a journal entry here.  I keep a personal journal at home; I was encouraged as a little girl/boy to keep a diary, and that practice has been the main positive formative factor in my life.  Still, I can't believe I haven't taken advantage of this forum to express a little bit!

I guess, maybe, it's that I've used URNL as a form of release, social entertainment. Chat rooms often remind me of bars and clubs, and, you don't go to bars and sit there scribbling diary notes, do ya?  Still, I have come home from outings and gone straight to my journal.  Still dizzy from the evening, I flair out about the frills and thrills, and as I'm putting it down I have my revelations, my "oh" moments.  "Oh, yeah, he said that," or "oh, I did that?"  Sometimes I see things later that I didn't at the time.  We all do that, right?

So, I wonder why I never got into journaling here?  I mean, it would be natural to leave chat and finish it off with journal.  Don't worry, guys, and girls(:)), I don't do the kiss and tell thing -- not that I've ever kissed anybody.  I just want to get the fun stuff, or maybe sometime, carry on with a rant.

Well, I'll see how this goes.  A new thing, exciting in possibility, but with the potential of becoming just another obligation.

Do me a favor, if you read this, let me know.
